Fogo de Chão is a celebrated Brazilian/American restaurant brand with over 70 locations in Brazil, the US, Mexico, Dubai and elsewhere with a 44-year track record of sustained success. We are now offering accredited investors the chance to share in Fogo’s success by investing in Debut’s exclusive Canadian franchise. Canada is the only location worldwide where individual investors can participate in the success of Fogo de Chao.

The Investment Opportunity
Starting at a minimum investment level of $2,000, investors can participate in the success of all Fogo de Chāo restaurants in Canada. Investors receive valuable perks, such as food and drink discounts, as well as bonus shares at no cost (depending on the amount invested). Investors will receive 12.5% p.a. interest on their investment for the first two years. Thereafter, dividends will be paid in proportion to the amount of the investment. Investors will receive proportional distribution at the time of a future liquidity event.
Fogo US has recently announced its sale to Bain Capital at a valuation of US$1.1 billion (Reuters), which equates to CDN $19.6 million per restaurant over 70 international locations.
High growth potential in Canada
The first two openings are expected in early 2024 in Toronto and Vancouver, both of which are ideal locations with thriving economies and vibrant restaurant scenes.
- The annual customer count per location in Canada is expected to range between 125,000 to 150,000 guests.
- The Gross Revenue per Canadian location is expected to range between $8M to $12M.
- Target cash-on-cash returns are expected to exceed 30%.
- The Target Investor IRR (Internal Rate of Return) is projected to exceed 25%.
